Twitch Spent 2020 encouraging musicians to join and how cover songs are being blocked

Artists on Twitch are being hit with DMCA notices, and 3 notices and they get kicked off the platform. Twitch stated that artists should be able to cover songs if they produce all the sounds themselves. But now artists will have to mute the audio when it is saved for playback.
